Dog Friendly Accommodation

 

Tarraleah Estate offers now has a cottage that your favourite canine friend can join you in. Please note this cottage is not available to book online, so if you would like to make a reservations please call our team on 03 6289 0111 or via info@tarraleah.com.

Tungatinah 18

Tungatinah 18 is one of Tarraleah’s original Art Deco Cottages, and has 3 bedrooms each with a queen bed, and 2 x bathrooms (1 x bath, 2 x walkin showers). Enjoy the spacious loungeroom complete with wood fire, dining room, sunroom, fully equipped kitchen, off-street parking and a small fenced back yard. Yes the house has heating/cooling throughout and fantastic views.

There is an $80 surcharge in addition to accommodation costs.

 

Dog Friendly Features/Requirements

  • Small-medium size dogs only
  • Maximum of 2 dogs
  • Dog must be on a lead when outside on the Estate property
  • Guests are required to clean up after your dog
  • The back yard is fenced though this would not stop small/toy dogs from getting out. Please note there is lots of wildlife around that may upset your dog.
  • Dog bedding, toys, bowls, treats etc are not provided
  • To facilitate your furry friend and  keep our cottage looking great, there is a surcharge per night on top of the accommodation cost
  • Please ensure your pooch is potty trained, as in the event of excessive cleaning or property destruction additional costs may be incurred
HIGHLAND-CARAVAN-PARK site

Highlander Caravan Park

 

The Highlander Caravan Park operates seasonally and is also pet friendly for those in motorhomes/caravans.

 

Dog Friendly Features/Requirements

  • Dog must be on a lead when outside on the Estate property
  • You are required to clean up after your dog
  • Dogs must sleep in an enclosed vehicle eg caravan, RV etc
  • We also have ducks, cows, goats and geese on the property and ask you to keep your pets away from the stock and wildlife.
  • Patrons with dogs not restrained, or with dogs disturbing others may be asked to leave the park.
